Thanks For Your Continued Support!
It was a busy September for the band and we enjoyed getting to entertain so many music fans. We kicked off the month at Dailey and Vincent LandFest at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. It was fun to play for the capacity crowd in the Anderson Music Hall on a day that also featured the Oak Ridge Boys, the Bellamy Brothers and, of course, the festival hosts, Dailey and Vincent. Following LandFest, we traveled to Mocksville, NC, for the Carolina Bible Camp Festival. It was a beautiful venue and a great cause and just an all-around good time there. Terry and Cindy, along with Will Jones, performed two sets of music at Carolina In The Fall, hosted by the Kruger Brothers. IBMA World of Bluegrass in Raleigh is always a few days packed full of music and friends. The Dukes of Drive had a Saturday evening Wide Open Bluegrass set. Leading into October, we headlined an event not too far from home for the Stokes County Partnership for Children-BBQ For Books with a Side of Bluegrass. The organizers tell us it was a huge success and we appreciate the opportunity of participating...especially since it was in Joey Lemon's home town of King, NC. And finally, the Duke of Drive himself celebrated his birthday on October 6th. Coming next month is the North Carolina BanjoFest, which is a festival that will feature bands, workshops and jamming in Clemmons, NC, just north of Winston-Salem, the weekend before Thanksgiving. We are working on the band calendar for 2020 and look forward to seeing you!!!
